Whole Foods Market Grand Opening

Retail launch • Social-first storytelling • Organic audience engagement

The Partnership

Whole Foods Market partnered with me to support the grand opening of its new 39,500-square-foot store in Rogers, Arkansa, a major addition to the NWA market featuring over 120 local products and expansive specialty departments such as prepared foods, bakery, seafood, and meat.

The Rogers location also launched with community giving initiatives tied to local food access and anti-waste efforts.

Objective

Build buzz and contextual awareness ahead of the opening date (Feb 18, 2026) by capturing the in-store experience and highlighting the unique, local offerings shoppers historically had to travel for. The goal was to position Whole Foods Market as a destination for product discovery, seasonal finds, and local engagement through authentic, social-native storytelling.

My Role

I conceptualized and produced social-first content designed to showcase the store’s experiential appeal. This included documenting the opening day with early access, planning narrative structure for vertical video formats, and capturing live footage focused on discovery, atmosphere, and my personal journey through the store.

Rather than simple product highlight clips, the content was crafted to feel like a lived-in experience: bringing the audience along as if they were shopping with me. By centering the narrative around both the personal experience and the local product assortment, the videos invited viewers to connect emotionally with the store’s opening rather than simply scroll past a commercial post.

The results

  • 3.7K views within the first 5 days

  • 260+ engagements across IG & TikTok in the first 5 days

  • Organic only (no paid amplification at time of reporting)

  • Early access + presence at opening day added authenticity and narrative depth
